k.d.

Thanks to WTMD and a penchant for impulse buying I now own k.d. lang's "Hymns of the 49th Parallel." I've heard just the first four tracks and I'm a believer. I love k.d. lang and what she does with a song. Some people are singers. And that's nice. She is a bard. And that's beyond nice. I am moved by her way with a lyric, her phrasing, her tone, and her emotion. Get this one folks.
