Darlin' Goes for the Dunk

Pookums was baptized this morning in front of church family and two special friends from work. The pastor reassuringly informed us just before the service began, "I've really only lost one person doing this, so you have nothing to worry about." That was good news and I know Katie was put at ease. She must have been shivering from the cold.

A few of us went out to Donna's Cafe afterward and eased our way into the afternoon. And beginning at 10:30 p.m. we pointed the car south and we're heading for Daytona Beach. Seventy degrees fahrenheit all week. I miss Maryland already. ;-)
