I'm being happily dragged into genealogy.

Just now, I waded through 100-year-old yellowed newspaper clipping that seem to indicate a Colbert male could run quickly enough to finish in the top three. Not in my lifetime, but as I unfolded the "Official Program of the Fifth Annual Tournament of the Southern Indiana Athletic and Oratorical Association to be held at Orleans, Indiana, May 27, 1904" it was in there.
